Top 5 sources of news and information:

People in the world love news but take it seriously with what news sources they look at. There are the popular ones, cnn, fox, the sports channels, and local channels. These news sources are very good for political news, local disasters or world wide disasters like school shootings, economic fall, pollution problems, and stock market updates. However, with the boost in social media, technology, as well as the movie and tv industries, the world may research other ways to get their news based upon what they do on a day to day basis.

For instance, celebrities play a big part in our world. Fortunately Entertainment Tonight, in my opinion, is a fantastic place for celebrity information. With Daily news information we can find articles like

Unfortunately, some of the population, maybe on the older side, find this site not important  to their world. 

Due to that factor, they may look at the local news which for me is news 12 westchester. Local news is amazing for trafic updates, weather updates, local disasters, and stock market updates. Teens may find this way of local news helpful since it is not too much information but they find that using social media is a great way to connect with the world. That is TikTok. 

TikTok I believe is a form of news since there are memes and information related being posted, for example. The past summer the new minions rise of grue came out and people dressed up in suits and dresses to see this movie. This trend became a popular tik tok challenge as influencers like Mr beast did this challenge on their tik tok page. This later broke the news when THE WASHINGTON POST even posted about it.

    Due to the minions meme news breaking tik tok and influencers having a huge impact on us. Youtube is a HUGE news information site. Youtube is a great way to share your feelings about a show or movie. It is a wonderful place to give a review on that movie or tv show, or even posting a video about a place, reviewing it, like food. For example I watch amc’s the walking dead and a reviewer I go to, a channel called "MOVIEidol" who gives news and information on latest episodes and new episodes.

    Since youtube is a great source of reviewers, Rotten Tomatoes is a great way to see peoples opinions on a show or movie. Rotten Tomatoes rates the movies based on people's liking for example, on the latest movie “Honk for Jesus. Save your soul”. It has a rating of 74%.

Sources of news information can be challenging to find, with this information I hope you gained the knowledge of both local, and social media use in a positive way. Everyone encourages  each other to look at news, but do it in a fun way! Don't be borING with your news sources all the time.
